Kassi Loren Hinton

Kassi Loren Hinton, age 24, a resident of De Queen, died Thursday, May 6th in Arkansas Childrens Hospital, Little Rock.

She was born to Loren, Jr. and Glenda Fay Mills Hinton at Texarkana, Texas, on August 18, 1985. She was a 2004 graduate of De Queen High School, and was a member of the Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She loved being with people and going to church. She enjoyed karaoke, swimming, amusement park rides, and swinging.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Loren Bob Hinton in 1985, and her grandmother, Frances Evelyn Mills in 1996.

She is survived by her parents, Loren and Glenda Hinton of De Queen, a sister, Kirbi Hinton of De Queen, her grandparents, Betty Ann Hinton of Winthrop, and Weaver, Jr. and Gerry Mills of New Boston, Texas, one uncle, Phil, and his wife, Pam Mills of Texarkana, Texas, one aunt, Tammy TaTa, and her husband, James Bates of Winthrop, four cousins, Todd, and his wife, Melissa Mills, Brittany Mills, Zach Bates, and Jaden Bates, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Kassi Hinton are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen,and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 10th in the Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, De Queen, with Bro. Jason Carlton and Bro. Joe Carlton officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Saturday, May 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are Walter Smith, Trevor Hooker, Marty Hooker, Rafael Figueroa, Jon Bunyard, Doug Stinnett. Honary Pallbearers are Tim Freel, and Brian VanWinkle Chandler Funeral Home,
